He grew up in Zgorzelec. graduated from Brighton Film School, then studied cultural studies and journalism at the University of Lower Silesia. During his studies, he began making a film about Jakob Boehme. His interests are in the history of Upper Lusatia and Silesia. In 2024, he was awarded a scholarship by the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and received the honorary title of 'Meritorious for the European City of Zgorzelec-Görlitz
